Kronos Quartet - Hard Rain (2025) [Hi-Res]

Kronos Quartet, joined by the Hard Rain Collective, released the EP Hard Rain on July 16, 2025 via Red Hot Organization. To mark the 80th anniversary of the Trinity nuclear test, the quartet offers two reimaginings of Bob Dylan’s “A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall”: a sung rendition featuring Iggy Pop, Willie Nelson, Allison Russell, Stephin Merritt, Tanya Tagaq, and others, and a spoken-word “Drone” version with Ringo Starr, Tom Morello, Nadya Tolokonnikova, Ocean Vuong, and more.
