Berget Lewis, Candy Dulfer, Edsilia Rombley and Trijntje Oosterhuis are the Ladies of Soul. The Dutch supergroup pays tribute to their favorite pop- and soul music during their annual liveshow in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The ladies are accompanied by a top notch live band and surprising local and international guest artists like Billy Ocean, En Vogue, Sheila E, Oleta Adams, JT Taylor (former lead singer Kool & The Gang), Sister Sledge and Gwen Dickey (voice of Rose Royce).

American soul music of the 1960s is one of the most creative and influential musical forms of the twentieth century. With its merging of gospel, R&B, country, and blues, soul music succeeded in crossing over from African American culture into the general pop culture. Soul became the byword for the styles, attitudes, and dreams of an entire era.
