Combining new compositions and very personal adaptations, this CD bears its name well: here an asymmetrical blues à la Brubeck, there traditional Rumanian in duet with his Californian fellow-member Bill Barrett, elsewhere still a second reading of very Eastern “Zayak”, jewel of the young virtuoso Karim Baggili.
Thierry offers to us even a great moment of unslung swing with the exceptional participation of Sanseverino, “le fou chantant” of this new millenium.
