Humour live together in Glasgow and began writing during lockdown, crafting songs at home that serve as a backdrop for Andreas’ strange, story-led lyrics—sometimes about loss, failure, or just trying to say something when nothing feels worth saying. Their debut album Learning Greek distills that approach, pairing tightly wound, off-kilter rock with an illustrative visual identity built around Andreas’ hand-drawn artwork and animations. Each track arrives fully formed with its own unique aesthetic, combining raw, expressive music with a surreal and darkly funny worldview.

Glasgow's Humour release their much-anticipated debut album Learning Greek (Produced by Idlewild's Rod Jones), on tastemaker label So Young Records. The 11 songs of Learning Greek combine lithe riffs, throat-stripping intensity and a crushing take on the fabled loud/quiet dynamic, with the record following two critically-acclaimed EPs from the band - 2022's "Pure Misery" and 2023's "A Small Crowd Gathered To Watch Me".

Humour live together in Glasgow and formed across the lockdowns, writing and recording their material at home, with the music intended as a backdrop to Andreas Christoloudis' narrative-driven and often surreal lyrics. Sometimes they’re about letting people down, sometimes they’re about pets dying, sometimes they’re about trying to say something when you don’t have anything worth saying.
