"Soak" is the fourth studio album by Black Honey. Inspired by the films of Stanley Kubrick, the album continues the band's signature cinematic sound. Described as pop-grunge with plenty of hooks, the album ventures into various musical directions. Frontwoman Izzy B. Phillips, who has become newly sober and received a recent autism diagnosis, explores personal themes in her lyrics, blending cinematic impressionism with a more specific, observational approach.
