Novemthree - Storms of Memory (2021)

Storms of Memory is novemthree's first full-length album since 2012's Renewing, following a split-album in 2014 with Sangre de Muerdago entitled Braided Paths. It documents a four-year journey of recording between the Salish Sea of the Pacific Northwest and the driftless area of the Northern Midwest, with conceptual roots in live performances from 2013 to 2018. The album explores a blend of acoustic folk songwriting and layered ambient textures, featuring stringed instruments, varied percussion, flutes, woodwinds, flutes, and vocal harmonies, with contributions from several friends in their musical community.
