Wind Machines is an experimental album by the duo Magic Tuber Stringband, released in early 2021. On this recording, members Courtney Werner and Evan Morgan shift away from the traditional string tunes characteristic of their debut, moving towards free improvisation and drone folk. The work was recorded in their home studio in Durham, North Carolina, during the pandemic, lending the sound an introspective and meditative character.
