Eben - Dinaskañ (2025) [Hi-Res]

Dinaskañ is an artistic manifesto that means “unshackle” in Breton.
Many of the tracks call for emancipation and resistance against conservative discourse: emancipation through dance, encounters, travel, women's right to control their own bodies, freedom of expression in one's own language, and the fight against all forms of oppression.
Songs such as Dañs Ar Bleiz, a dance against fascism, and Eostig Kuzh I, a hymn to female emancipation, illustrate the album's central theme.
Dinaskañ is also an acronym for Diskanañ, “to disenchant,” which is found in the expression “kan-ha-diskan,” the dance song of central Brittany.
