"Jorden Kalder" (Danish for "The Earth is Calling") is the debut full-length album from the Danish folk band Molde. The group's music is acoustic folk with bluegrass influences, centered around poetic lyrics in the Danish language. The band's sound is built on a combination of acoustic string instruments, including mandolin, guitar, cittern, violin, double bass, banjo, and dobro. Thematically, the album explores the connection between people, nature, and the climate, as well as the poetry of everyday life.
