On 23rd February 2025, Jenny Don’t & The Spurs lit up Hastings with a free party at the Jenny Lind. Locals packed the seaside pub hours before stage time, and the band delivered a storming set that turned the wood-panelled walls into a sweat-drenched hoedown. This recording captures that night in full force.

Formed in Portland, Oregon in 2012, Jenny Don’t & The Spurs draw from country, rockabilly, garage rock and punk. Jenny herself cut her teeth in garage outfit DON’T, drummer Buddy Weeks has toured with Otis Heat and Sallie Ford, bassist Kelley Halliburton emerged from the Portland punk underground, and guitarist Christopher March jumped between bluegrass and power violence. The result is a band that can thrill country purists while keeping rockers rooted in the front row.

Already in 2025, the group have played 64 shows across 15 countries and 11 U.S. states, with more to come in the U.S. and Australia before the year is out. On stage, they prove there’s nowhere to hide — and no shortage of fire.
