Memi Sillah, The Oldians - Som Uns Soulful Fucking Lovers (2025)

The Catalan octet The Oldians, known for their fusion of Jamaican rhythms and jazz, is preparing to celebrate their 25th anniversary by releasing their first album in Catalan, "Som uns soulful fucking lovers." Scheduled for release in autumn 2025, the album is a collection of 12 of the band's classic hits, reimagined with new arrangements, fresh mixes, and, for the first time, Catalan lyrics. Guest singer Memi Sillah recorded the lead vocals for the project, giving a new sound to the familiar rocksteady and reggae tracks. This album is both a greatest hits compilation and a brand-new creation, serving as a gift to longtime fans and a new audience alike.
