Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz - Canta Para Ti (1972)

Bobby Cruz is showcased (an understatement, since Cruz was the primary force in the Richie Ray outfit) in this effort (co-produced by Ray), where the singer performs in assorted styles and genres such as ballads, early-'70s salsa, and even pop. Cruz's forceful vocals are always an attraction, and the pieces here make Canta Para Ti a welcome entry into the Ray-Cruz discography, although some are no different than any of the pair's other collaborations.
