Blindsight is an album by Dylan Golden Aycock, released in 2015 under the name Talk West. Recorded over a seven-year period, the release is positioned as a "soundtrack to a recurring dream." Its core is the suite 'That Dream Again,' which proceeds non-linearly from part two to part ten, creating the feeling of a fragmented and illogical dream. The album's music constantly shifts, moving from ambient synth sketches and guitar meditations reminiscent of Boards of Canada to organ drones and psychedelic motifs. Due to its dynamic and exploratory nature, Blindsight offers a dynamic listening experience that, much like a dream, reveals new details with each replay.
