Bulgarian Cartrader - Greetings from Soulgaria (2025) [Hi-Res]

The Berlin-based Bulgarian musician and producer Bulgarian Cartrader (Daniel Stoyanov) is releasing his second album, "Greetings from Soulgaria," three years after his successful debut. The record is a collection of musical "postcards" from the fictional country of Soulgaria—a world inspired by the artist's cultural heritage. On this album, the musician adopts the persona of a "Balkan boss," blending Byzantine gospel with classic soul and R&B. Stoyanov was inspired by the work of Bruce Springsteen in creating the album, which is reflected in the narrative style of the songs. They touch upon deeply personal themes: nostalgia, the struggle with depression, overcoming trauma, and first love. "Greetings from Soulgaria" is an album rich in stories, in which the musician moves away from the stereotypes of his debut release and offers listeners a more mature and personal narrative.
