Formed from The Cyclones in Palmerston North, Sounds Unlimited were a Wellington NZ based band of the 1960s.

Throughout the mid to late sixties the musical landscape was in constant upheaval. Sounds Unlimited were big news in Wellington, but through a series of minor disasters and a lack of direction, their considerable talents were not enough to sustain them.
