Jérôme Sabbagh - Stand Up! (2025) [Hi-Res]

On October 17, 2025, saxophonist and composer Jerome Sabbagh will release the album "Stand Up!" on his new label, Analog Tone Factory. This album marks the reunion of his longstanding quartet for the first time in over a decade. The group includes guitarist Ben Monder, bassist Joe Martin, and new drummer Nasheet Waits. The album's title reflects both artistic independence and the need to stand up for one's beliefs, as well as a reaction to the current political climate. The album's compositions are deeply personal and dedicated to various musical idols, such as Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and Nine Inch Nails. The album was recorded live to analog tape by engineer James Farber and was mastered in the analog domain by Bernie Grundman, emphasizing the label's commitment to an authentic and natural sound.
