Rumah Sakit was a rock band from San Francisco, formed in 1998. Their musical style combined the energy of progressive rock in the vein of King Crimson with meditative melodies, which distinguished them from most math-rock bands of that period. A commemorative compilation titled "Rumah Sakit 25" has been released, featuring a remaster of the band's debut album and a rare EP. The release is a double vinyl album with new artwork, a large number of previously unpublished photographs, and an art booklet. The band's members subsequently collaborated with many notable acts, confirming their significant influence and versatility.
