Fragments is the debut album by UAZ – Urban Acid Zone, a project born from the meeting of the musical experiences of Claudio Zambenedetti (Sax), Andrea Posocco (Drums and Percussion), Giovanni Gorgoni (Bass), and Piero Terzariol (Guitars).

Although a debut record, it carries the weight of years of live performances and studio research, condensed into eleven unreleased tracks capable of exploring diverse yet perfectly cohesive soundscapes.

The title, Fragments, reflects the very nature of the work: a collection of pieces that, once united, narrate the plurality of influences and styles that define the band’s identity. Within the album coexist grooves with a 1970s funk flavor, smooth and laid-back atmospheres, more energetic and incisive moments, and a constant interplay of Jazz, Rock, Funk, and Ambient, shaping a contemporary and original sound.

Anticipated by the singles Tweaked and Whatz, the album unfolds as a sonic journey that embodies the fusion of cultures, personalities, and musical languages, while always maintaining a strong stylistic coherence.
