Magic Wands - Cascades (2025)

"Cascades" is the sixth studio album by the American dark dream-pop duo Magic Wands (Chris and Dexy Valentine), released on October 24, 2025, via Metropolis Records. The album continues their signature "shimmering and dreamy" sound, which blends elements of gothic post-punk, dark dream-pop, textured guitars, droning synths, and ethereal vocals. According to press releases, the album's concept is rooted in a "fascination with how the past lingers inside us" and explores transformation and the spaces where timelines blur; it was shaped by the spirit of centuries-old poetry, gothic romance, and myth. The album features 10 tracks, including the previously released singles "Hide", "Armour", "Moonshadow", and "Across the Water".
