Agnieszka Hekiert - Soulnation (2019)

The long-term collaboration between the outstanding Bulgarian pianist Konstantin Kostov and vocalist Agnieszka Hekiert has resulted in another album, "Soulnation," which is sounding excellent. A combination of Slavic soul and Bulgarian virtuosity, entwined with the deep sound of the double bass and incredible drum rhythms (played by Grammy Award winners Paweł Pańta and Cezary Konrad). This album touches, moves, leaves no one indifferent, breaking all barriers. Crazy improvisations intertwine with sensitive stories, and the energy flowing from the vocalist herself seems to connect us with the source. This album must be experienced.

Agnieszka Hekiert is a jazz vocalist who, since 2009, has collaborated with the renowned jazz artist Bobby McFerrin, as well as with the Krzysztof Herdzin Trio (the collaboration resulted in the album "Night and Day Swing") and with Leszek Żądło and the Bulgarian Trio in Munich (this collaboration resulted in the album "European Impressions," soon to be available in Poland). She continues to work under the guidance of the best: WeBe3, Rhiannon, Roger Treece, and finally Bobby McFerrin, with whom, in addition to workshops, she has already performed in numerous concerts (as part of the Vocabularies project).

Initially, her career flourished only in Poland, but over time, it also gained recognition in Europe.
