The record is a compilation of folk songs from America and other lands, recorded between May 1950 and May 1951. The tracklist includes compositions such as "Around The World", "Tzena, Tzena, Tzena", "The Frozen Logger", "Darling Corey", "I Know Where I'm Going", "Hush Little Baby", "Suliram (Indonesian Lullaby)", "Drinking Gourd", and "Easy Rider Blues".
