swim school - Swim School (Deluxe Edition) (2025)

The debut full-length album "Swim School" by the Scottish indie-rock band swim school was released on October 31, 2025, on the LAB Records label. Comprising 9 tracks, the album was recorded between August 2024 and May 2025, starting as a trio's work and concluding as a quartet, which reflects the evolution of the band's sound. The album was produced by Iain Berryman (known for working with Wolf Alice and Beabadoobee), mastered by Dill Abbott, and the cover design was created by Jamie. Swim school, an indie-rock band formed in Edinburgh in 2018, consists of Alice Johnson (vocals), Lewis Bunting (guitar), Billy McMahon (bass), and a fourth musician who joined in 2025. The collective's music, inspired by Wolf Alice and Slowdive, combines indie-rock, alternative, and pop elements. Prior to this release, swim school, who signed with LAB Records in 2022, had released several EPs and a mixtape, supported Inhaler on tour in 2023, and were included in Dork's "Hype List" in 2024.
