"Bright Yellow Bright Orange" is the eighth studio album by the Australian band The Go-Betweens, released in February 2003 during the second phase of their career following their reunion. The album was distributed by Trifekta Records, Domino Recording Co, and Jetset Records. It received high critical acclaim, notably earning an 82/100 rating on Metacritic and positive reviews in Rolling Stone. Musically, the album combines the genres of indie rock and jangle-pop. The lineup featured Robert Forster, Grant McLennan, Adele Pickvance, and Glenn Thompson, along with guest string musicians. A distinguishing characteristic of this work is a more academic approach to arrangements and melodies compared to their earlier output, although their signature jangle-pop elements are retained with fewer eccentric features.
