On the album "En Sång till Selma" Sofia Karlsson interprets lyrics by Selma Lagerlöf. Something that turned out to be a challenge. Only three of the album's ten tracks have original lyrics by Selma Lagerlöf. It was simply difficult to set the lyrics to music. The other songs are based on lyrics by Selma, but have been reworked by Sofia Karlsson together with Johan Salberg. Guest singers on the album are Moonica Mac, Sara Parkman and Kristian Matsson (The Tallest Man On Earth). The musicians who participate are Lisa Rydberg, Anders Nygårds, Filip Jers, Sofie Livebrant, Anders Petterson, Magnus Olsson, Pelle Sollinger and Anton Sundell. It takes some time to really absorb the album, which requires more listening than previous albums by Sofia Karlsson. It is not as direct and a little more difficult to access.
