Adam Meckler - Sampled (2025)

The creator of the album, which utilized samples of the Adam Meckler Orchestra's music, intentionally provided minimal direction to producers to encourage individual creativity and collaboration. This highly collaborative approach led to the creation of entirely new and eclectic songs. The project involved inviting singers, rappers, and instrumentalists to overdub improvisations, write new parts, and perform written material over the samples, resulting in a rich and diverse sound. The author expresses deep gratitude to the participating artists, whom he considers collaborators and friends, and to everyone who has supported his musical visions over the past two decades. The album was partially funded by an REF grant from Michigan Technological University.
