Jean Schwarz - Unreleased & Rarities Vol. 1 (2025)

Transversales announces the release of the compilation «Unreleased & Rareties» (1972-2002), a collection of short, previously unreleased, and lesser-known music by electronic pioneer Jean Schwarz. Schwarz, who worked as an engineer in the Ethnomusicology Department of the Musée de l'Homme and was a member of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (G.R.M) from 1969 to 1999, left behind personal archives containing unpublished recordings. The compilation includes these rarities, originally composed for dance, screen, and the performing arts. All audio material has been remastered in high resolution directly from the original master tapes.
