Pieces of Heaven: Live at the Centre Pompidou is a live album and a recording of a film-performance that was shot in 2024 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. This performance served as a kind of farewell for the band and was timed to coincide with the release of their final studio album, Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me (2024). The concert, conceived by frontwoman Dana Margolin in collaboration with her sister Ella Margolin (director) and set designer Ellie Wintour, was an ambitious, theatrical event inspired by the works of sculptors Alexander Calder and Constantin Brâncuși. The album spans over a decade of the band's work, moving through themes of inertia, heartbreak, and dysphoria, and is presented as a "celebration of the void," where "nothing means anything, and within that is complete freedom to do and feel everything."
