The Happenings - The Happenings [Bonus Track] (2017)

The Happenings is a vocal quartet group that gained popularity after being released by Bright Tunes Productions, a company managed by The Tokens, and was considered their "younger brothers." Their breakthrough occurred in 1966 with the major hit "See You in September," which reached number 3 on the US charts. This debut album was recorded immediately following the single's success, with members of The Tokens participating in the production process. The album showcases the group's signature approach of reviving classic standard songs through contemporary arrangements, resulting in outstanding tracks like "Girl on a Swing." Two additional single songs are included in the release.
