Kling Klang - Half Life (2025) Hi-Res

Kling Klang return at last with their second album, released through Wrong Speed Records. Two decades after rumbling out of a warehouse basement between Oval and Camberwell with a tangle of wires and sci-fi synths, the band still sound like they’re broadcasting from deep space. Two members also play in Part Chimp, but this isn’t heavy in the usual sense — it’s a different kind of weight, where punk energy meets hypnotic, cosmic electronics.

The record feels like a lost transmission from an alien radio station: motorik, soundtrack-inspired, raw and handmade. Think DIY spirit, punk attitude, and infectious, off-kilter grooves beamed from the far reaches of the galaxy.
