After a highly praised debut, this quintet takes a step forward with a more defined and personal sound. The roots of bebop are present, yet always with an eye toward the future, shaping a unique language born from the chemistry between these five musicians.

From the vibrant energy of “Downtown,” where the groove is built and transformed fluidly, to the suspended melody of “The Crossing,” the album flows like a conversation full of nuances. The tenor sax and guitar intertwine in melodic lines that complement and challenge each other, while the piano adds harmonic colors that expand the sonic space. The double bass and drums, with their dynamic subtleties, hold the group together with both strength and flexibility, propelling the music without imposing limits.
