Gustavo Telesmanich Grupo releases his debut album "Pulsión" on September 5, 2025. The material, composed of compositions by Telesmanich himself, was recorded live in July 2023 at Godzila Studios (Roldán, Santa Fe), with recording and mixing by Martín Actis and mastering by Andrés Mayo. It will be released by the Club del Disco label.
In addition to the project leader in drums, percussion, choirs and composition, the line-up is integrated with Jorge Palena on double bass, Tomás Bozzano on piano and Juan Manuel Oviedo on guitar.
From the production, they comment on the album: "Conceived as a sound exploration inspired by the natural processes of life, which has nature as its conceptual axis. The compositions, in quartet format, combine the spontaneity of contemporary jazz with a subtle touch of world music. The album proposes a deep and intimate listening, full of textures and spaces". This release was preceded by two singles, "Alas” and "Pulsión", the title track of the album.
Throughout his career, Gustavo Telesmanich has explored genres such as rock, funk, music for theater and folklore, collaborating in the latter with artists such as Juanjo Cura. This diversity has enriched his musical language, today reflected in his contemporary jazz compositions, where he fuses textures and rhythms in his own language.
During this tour, he has participated in various projects together with jazz and contemporary music referents, such as Julio Kobryn, Leonardo Piantino, Mariano Ruggieri, Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Carlos Daniel Lastra, Carlos Michelini and Juan Pablo Arredondo, among others.
Anticipating the departure, he talked with El Litoral about the path that led him to create this music and the human group that interprets it.
