Mark-Almond was a duo formed in 1970 by former members of John Mayall's band. Their musical style, blending elements of jazz, rock, and blues, is described as a precursor to the City Pop aesthetic. Following the passing of both founders, the release of archival material holds significant historical value. This album features a complete recording of a concert held on October 21, 1978, in Philadelphia, taped for the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio program. The performance supported the album Other Peoples Rooms, released on the Horizon (A&M) label, and featured backing by New York jazz musicians. The recording showcases the group's elegant sound at the peak of their creative powers.
