Itches - House Animal Included (2025) Hi-Res

More than a year after their Two Flies In One Clap LP, Belgian garage rock trio Itches crash back in with a sophomore full-length, titled House Animal Included (the press blurb not unjustified calls it “a cool cat: it can be cuddly, it can be angry and most of all it doesn’t give a shit”). The ten new tracks snarl with fuzz and grit, driven by confident vocals and riffs built to stick. Arno Sels, Hendrik Van Den Berk, and Philippe Peeters push their sound into looser, 60s-leaning hipshake territory, shedding some of the punk edges without losing any bite. It’s a swaggering, joyfully unkempt record, and the sense of fun is unmistakable.
