WITCH - Fool's Ride (2025)

Now-Again label has announced the release of the album "Fool's Ride" exclusively for Record Store Day 2025. This release serves as a collection of rare singles by the legendary band WITCH, regarded as the kings of "Zamrock" (Zambian rock of the 1970s). The genre is a unique synthesis of Western garage rock, psychedelia, and funk blended with traditional African rhythms and melodies. WITCH's work evolved from early experiments inspired by The Rolling Stones and James Brown to complex Afro-rock in their later period. This colored vinyl compilation is positioned as the final addition to the band's golden-era discography.
