Orangina is the title of the third album by Albert Cirera & Tres Tambors, a project that has become firmly established after more than ten years of trajectory, during which this quartet has developed its own language that explores, without complexes, the boundaries of contemporary jazz.
The compositions that make up Orangina arise from improvisation and are developed through different compositional games — tools that give Albert Cirera the freedom to experiment and to lead his music towards new spaces that go beyond the conventional.
Drummer Òscar Domenech, double bassist Marco Lohikari, and pianist Marco Mezquida accompany Albert Cirera in this project. Together, they weave the necessary bonds of complicity to perform the twelve compositions of Orangina — a pretext to create, together, a living music that evolves in every live performance in search of new textures and new timbres. This attitude defines the musical personality of Albert Cirera.
Albert Cirera - Sax Tenor, Soprano
Marco Mezquida - Piano, Rhodes
Marko Lohikari - Bass
Oscar Domènech - Drums
