Oscar-winning British composer Stephen Warbeck created the original score for the 2025 drama Park Avenue. The film follows a woman who leaves her husband to return to her mother and reevaluate her past. The primary objective for the score was to avoid sentimentality while maintaining an intimate scale appropriate for the narrative. Inspired by a performance by bassist Lars Danielsson, Warbeck centered the composition on the interplay between double bass and cello. The recording features an ensemble of both jazz and classical musicians, resulting in a personal and eccentric sound that aligns with director Gaby Dellal's vision.
