The Slingshots - Is This Soul? (2014)

The Slingshots were born with the idea of recalling and recovering the rhythmic patterns of funk, the warm vocal melodies of soul, the rich instrumental approach of jazz and the energy of rock. They've already released two 45's. Now it's time for them to introduce their first LP "Is This Soul?". The record has had a good reception amongst the specialised press and it's been selected as one of the best records in his genre in 2014. It's been played by Craig Charles at his Funk And Soul Show on BBC Radio.
