Luis Fernando Amaya - nacen en silencio (2025)

Aurora Records has released the second album by Mexican composer Luis Fernando Amaya, titled 'nacen en silencio' ('born in silence'). The work is inspired by a poem by Uruguayan poet Marosa Di Giorgio regarding the life cycle of mushrooms and focuses on the sounds of nature and the organic world, which are often hidden from human attention.

Musically, the release features a combination of instrumental solos, electronics, a string quartet, and vocals. The album's six compositions explore "more-than-human" life forms, mimicking the sounds of trees, thunder, and insects, creating warm and rich textural landscapes.
