Hi everyone, Tony here. I'm absolutely delighted and proud to announce that my brand new album, The Great Irish Songbook Volume II, recorded with my good friends Ranagri, is officially available for pre-order now!
As many of you know, Irish music is in my blood—my grandparents came over from County Mayo in the West of Ireland and played in ceilidh bands, singing the songs of their homeland. This new collection is another heartfelt homage to my heritage, taking you on an uplifting journey back to those roots.
For this album, we've taken 11 fantastic, iconic Irish traditional songs—including tracks like "Whiskey in the Jar," "The Leaving of Liverpool," and "The Salley Gardens"—and given them that signature 'TC' treatment, with contemporary arrangements and excellent sound quality. I truly hope you love it as much as I loved making it.
