Ragna - Ragna (2025)

The Danish trio RAGNA performs Nordic folk music, harmoniously combining ancient traditions with a modern, energetic delivery. The group's unique sound is shaped by a combination of violin, nyckelharpa, and 12-string guitar. Vocalist Stine Elbæk, utilizing her background in opera, introduces elements of dramatic storytelling to the songs while maintaining a natural singing style. The repertoire consists of a blend of folk melodies inspired by Swedish tradition and original compositions, characterized by a warm minor tonality and rhythmic grooves.
