Jarguna, Odile Bruckert, Henrik Meierkord - Furrows of Memory (2025) [Hi-Res]

Italian composer jarguna (Marco Billi) has released his 54th album, Furrows of Memory, produced in collaboration with vocalist and flutist Odile Bruckert, as well as Swedish multi-instrumentalist Henrik Meierkord (cello, viola). The record features melodic electro-ambient music, which the artists position as a therapeutic tool capable of healing the body and mind through vibrations. The conceptual framework of the release explores the nature of memory and how events are imprinted on the human consciousness, akin to engravings on stone or grooves on vinyl. The work was inspired by reflections on time and visits to ancient archaeological sites in Turkey, including Sagalassos, Göbekli Tepe, and Nemrut Dağı. The creative process was characterized by exceptional synergy and intuitive mutual understanding among the musicians.
