On The Falls, singer-songwriter Drew Cash leans into his Kentucky roots with an earthy, lo-fi folk aesthetic. He recorded most of his guitar and vocal tracks in his garage through a pair of cheap ribbon mics. He then enlisted friend and producer Pat Linehan of The Burbank Vibe Center to record additional instruments in his studio. The album is a meditation on family, love, faith, and the passing of time, and features narratives based on true, historical family events as remembered by his elders.
