At 25 years old Expansion released this commemorative CD with a party spirit. Many tracks are exclusive to this CD, starting with a brand new song by by Philly legends Shirley Jones and Jean Carne with a song about survival and coming together through a love of soul. Other brand new songs appearing on CD for the first time came from Keni Burke, Leon Ware, Kloud 9, Victor Haynes and James Day with songs especially for this project + first time on CD for the Soul In One Remix for Tom Glide. Soul Talk and Sheree Brown appear ahead of their appearance at Expansion’s Luxury Soul Weekender in January 2012 and there are classic Expansion revivals here too from Maysa, James King and Kuh Ledesma.
