Warren Ellis and sound engineer Olivier Goinard reunite with director Vincent Munier to score a new nature documentary. The film chronicles a journey through boreal forests undertaken by three generations of the Munier family, exploring themes of legacy and wildlife observation. The soundtrack, which features contributions from the duo Birds on a Wire, departs from the dramatic tone of the authors' previous collaboration (The Velvet Queen) in favor of a more introspective and intimate atmosphere. The score deliberately employs repetitive motifs to illustrate the concept of nature's cyclical renewal and eternal beginning. The film is bookended by a piece from Hildur Guðnadóttir and a Fairport Convention cover, highlighting the theme of suspended time.
