This collection commemorates America's 250th anniversary and reimagines classics by artists like John Denver and Dolly Parton through a jazz lens. The project highlights the genre's storytelling power, reflecting the spirit of freedom and democracy in the United States. Butler, Facig, Brent Wallarab, and Greg Reynolds curated the repertoire to create a unique musical mosaic of the nation. The tracks feature spirituals, folk, and country songs, crafted with innovative arrangements to showcase America's cultural history.
