Singer-songwriter Jill Sobule is set to release the cast recording of her autobiographical musical, F*ck 7th Grade, on June 6. The production, a New York Times Critic's Pick and Drama Desk nominee, explores adolescent themes and the challenges of growing up. To support the release, Sobule is embarking on a tour throughout 2025 with a one-woman show, which includes supporting dates for The Fixx and The Mekons. Her work is characterized by a blend of deeply personal and socially conscious topics, ranging from eating disorders to political issues. Additionally, Sobule is recognized as a crowdfunding pioneer and an independent publisher of her own music.
