Telekaster - Space Lido (2025) [Hi-Res]

The new release by Telekaster marks a shift in Matthias Grübel's creative direction. Moving away from his customary textural ambient guitar work, the musician explores a melodic and groove-infused sound. The collaboration with drummer Danny Rico played a significant role in the album's creation, lending the recordings the character of an emotional band performance. Stylistically, the work encompasses Neo-Kraut, Cosmic Music, and Ambient Jazz, exemplified by the track "Lichtung," which features saxophonist Philipp Hager.
