This is the 10th album by Judy Niemack, a beautiful vocalist active in New York.
This 2009 album features longtime musical colleague Jean-François Plin as musical director, and features a stellar lineup including Bruce Barth, Rufus Reid, and Bruno Castellucci.
The selection includes classic Italian, French, and Brazilian hits like Bruno Martino's "Estate," Michel Legrand's "The Summer Knows," Ivan Lins' "Sails," and Marcos Valle's "Summer Samba," as well as famous American standards by G. Gershwin and Heinz Mancini.
While her superb technique has been emphasized to date, she has also proven herself to be a first-class ballad singer, capable of delivering wonderful emotion even when singing straightforward melodies.
This album is sure to become one of her masterpieces!
