Raz Mesinai - Lovecraft (2022) [Hi-Res]

This project constitutes a series of electroacoustic interpretations of H.P. Lovecraft's literary legacy, developed as part of the "Wordless Worlds" cycle. The compositions explore the transformation of the author’s personal phobias—stemming from a traumatic childhood and an aversion to the "other"—into universal artistic nightmares. Recorded during the late 1990s and early 2000s, the works utilize analog tape, hardware samplers, and graphic notation. Departing from direct literary references, these pieces maintain an abstract character, capturing the overarching atmosphere of Lovecraftian horror rather than specific narratives. The material underwent professional remastering in 2022.
