Composer Jēkabs Tutiņš's debut album "Not Quite Baroque" has been released, embodying the grandeur of the Baroque era and the sovereignty of modern man. The world was created in seven days, seven notes create harmony, seven colors stretch across the sky, seven wonders of the world reveal humanity's ability to create the extraordinary. And seven compositions embody Jēkabs Tutiņš' album "Not Quite Baroque".

Honestly, I didn’t expect this kind of experience. While listening to Not Quite Baroque, I felt the music lift me out of the everyday and place me in a much larger emotional space. There were moments where I found myself sitting completely still, simply following where the music was going next.
This is music that awakens ambition. It creates a sense of scale, confidence, and inner elevation. In several passages, clear cinematic images appeared almost instinctively, like listening to a film score without the film, where everything unfolds inside the imagination.
After the album ended, what stayed with me was a feeling of clarity and momentum. Inspiration, focus, and a desire to move forward. It’s rare to encounter classical music that feels this refined and at the same time so motivating.
